Xbox 360 News: "Halo 3" and "Gears of War 2" Map Pack Dates

This might not be breaking news for many since this information has been out for most of the week, but since Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 remain perennial Xbox LIVE favorites month after month, I thought that I would mention that the release dates for the fast approaching map packs for both were announced last Monday. These should hold first-party 360 FPSers for a few months and maybe as long as September when Halo 3:ODST is scheduled to release. Gear of War 2 Snowblind Map Pack

• Available via download at LIVE Marketplace on March 31
• 800 MS points
• Xbox.com/Epic Games’ info on pack
• Gears 2 title update 3 and fixes available now
  

Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack

• Available via download to everyone at LIVE Marketplace on April 9th
• 800 MS points
