Love TV & Movies? Get on the Twitter Train!

I had resisted Twitter for months. Like, what’s the point, right? Do I really need a constant stream of chatter and updates and random thoughts and news and rumors? Turns out I don’t need it, but I like it! It’s so addictive. You can follow your friends, of course, but right now I’m enjoying updates from famous folk (fictional and otherwise). In the spirit of #FollowFriday (a Twitter thing where people share suggestions for who/what to follow), here’s are some celebs to get you started:

Rainn Wilson (Twitter ID: RainnWilson) aka Dwight Schrute from The Office: Loved his Star Trek review:  “Awesome, fun movie with a perfect cast (that I was ready to hate). Great action packed reinvention! 3 & 1/2 beets” on a 4-beet scale.

Nathan Fillion (NathanFillion): I’m digging Castle (don’t cancel it, ABC!), and loved Firefly, so I couldn’t resist. Found Nathan by looking at who Rainn was following, a strategy I recommend. Interesting folks seem to follow interesting folks.

Hugh Jackman (RealHughJackman): Where my comic book geek and musical theater geek find happy agreement!

Demi Moore (MrsKutcher): Her Mr. is getting all the Twitter attention (Ashton is “aplusk”), but she’s an avid contributor, as compelling online as she is onscreen.

“Sheldon” from Big Bang Theory (SheldonCooper): Yes, he’s fictional. But it’s an “official” feed, and I couldn’t love the character more. See also: @Pennyin4B, @LeonardHofstadt
