Wondering how to get your Mom, wife, sister, etc. hooked on Nintendo's upcoming arcade boxing title Punch-Out!!? Just let them know that it is compatible with the Wii Balance Board. As much as they love Wii Fit, I'm sure they are itching to use that Balance Board for something besides lowering their BMI (body mass index). Check out the details below.
As you can see the caveat when it comes to the Balance Board is that it is only an option in single player mode. Kind of lame I know, but then again how many people actually have two Balance Boards? Anyway the deal with this limitation is that the Wii Remote/Nunchuck/Balance Board controller combination uses three of the Wii's wireless inputs. The console only has four total, so this doesn 't allow enough locally for another player, who would need two to support a Wii Remote and Nunchuck to swing with both hands. Oh well, either way it is looking pretty fun and so single player it is I guess. Good luck selling it to your SO.
