iTunes is another great device that consumers are crazy about. It created a sensation when it was released in 2001 and has had consumers captivated ever since. But consumers want all of their devices synched so all of their functions are transferrable. Now they can sync their iTunes playlist with the BlackBerry. It’s likely that this is an application BlackBerry and iTunes users are going to want to have.
A company called PocketMac is the manufacturer of this application that can sync all of your iTunes with your BlackBerry. It’s bound to be a huge hit with BlackBerry iTunes users. It allows you to select your playlist of non-copy protected music in TunesSync and then instantly copy them to your BlackBerry.
The guys that run PocketMac thought people should use their BlackBerry for more than just contacts, calendars, tasks, phone calls and connecting to the web. As if that wasn’t enough. PocketMac specializes in expanding applications for the Mac. PocketMac is run by the Goggin brothers - one brother is the design and engineering brain and the other one handles the sales and marketing end. Both brothers are total Macintosh addicts.
The application works with the BlackBerry Pearl 8100, Curve 8300 and 8800. It can copy protected music files, but they can only legally be played with the iTunes device. - 23544
